Global gobbler

The food blogger known as Sui Mai (suimai.blogspot.com) has travelled far in the past few years. She started blogging from Hong Kong then posted from Paris, where she lived for about 18 months. She continued during her honeymoon in the United States, on her brief return to Hong Kong and after her trip to Spain, where she ate at El Bulli with fellow Hong Kong blogger Chaxiubao. She will soon be posting from London, her new home.

It will be interesting to see what she thinks of the British capital's food. Her posts are interesting and varied; at times, she's laugh-out-loud funny (the most memorable is the post from Paris in which she describes her trials while cooking a birthday dinner for a boyfriend). She's willing to try almost anything, from Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris to types of instant noodle and potato crisps.
