YCCC offers accredited courses with an international flavour
The Yew Chung Community College of International Studies (YCCC) opens this academic year with the aim of promoting international understanding by enrolling students from various backgrounds and forging links with other academic institutions around the world.
These links will enable students to study overseas as part of their future learning opportunities.
The YCCC said it hoped to develop 'bilingual language abilities, critical thinking, independent learning, knowledge about the world and international understanding, a global mindset, creativity, moral education and a strong sense of caring with individual and social responsibility'.
The college has combined two programmes that together lead to an Associate in Arts degree.
The first year of the programme consists of a one-year full-time University Foundation Diploma (UFD), while the second and third years consist of the full-time Associate Degree programme.
