Manhunt for armed robbers

Police launched a manhunt for two armed robbers last night after they snatched gold jewellery worth HK$240,000 from a Sham Shui Po store. The men in balaclavas threatened workers with two weapons that appeared to be handguns at a Chow Sang Sang store in Tai Po Road at 6.50pm and fled towards Shek Kip Mei. Officers in bulletproof vests and helmets with shotguns cordoned off the area, but found no one suspicious.
