Ambulance in collision at traffic lights

An ambulance collided head-on with a car while trying to go through a red light at the junction of Fung Tak Road and Po Kong Village Road in Wong Tai Sin at 10.26am yesterday. No one was injured. Police said the ambulance had its siren switched on and blue light flashing on its way to pick up a patient at Ngau Tau Kok home for the elderly. Another ambulance arrived at the home 18 minutes after the Fire Services Department received the call.
