Perfect Potion SOS Spot Gel (HK$295/25ml)
A blend of tea tree, lavender and juniper berry, this all-natural spot solution gradually calms and reduces spots. The pump dispenser is a bit difficult to control, though, and for the price you could buy several bottles of far-more-effective pure tea tree oil.
Kiehl's Blue Herbal Spot Treatment (HK$160/15ml)
This scentless spot gel comes in a handy size  that's perfect for your purse. Spots shrink after just one application and disappear soon after.  Although it stings a bit, it's worth putting up with it.
DHC Acne Spot Therapy (HK$68/15g)
Like most acid-based medicines, this one stings! The drying  quality is very effective on big pimples but may be too harsh for the skin surrounding them. Good  for a huge  zit but not for small spots.
Fancl Cleartune Acne Care Essence (HK$165/8g)
This clear, gel-like substance has a slightly medicinal smell.  It leaves skin feeling  fresh and oil-free  after application. But while it's gentle on skin, it's not the perfect choice if you have a pimple emergency.
Orbis Acne Spots Essence N (HK$129/20g)
This is like a magic wand. Apply it to budding spots before you go to bed, and when you wake up, the threat will have gone. Brilliant.
