TRAINER Peter Ng Bik-kuen is noted for producing good staying winners and the right material is on hand with Oriental Power. The impressive son of Shareef Dancer finished just over five lengths from good winner Mustang over 1,400 metres and he was only getting warm when it was all over. Oriental Power has solid Irish form that includes a reasonable run in a Listed Race and a closing second in a 0-95 handicap at The Curragh. Danny Lee was not hard on him yesterday but the manner in which Oriental Power began to come home suggests good things ahead. With two runs under his belt Oriental Power is getting acclimatised and is strongly suggested as a potential winner when stepping up in distance to at least 1,800 metres or beyond.
