Actress Kelly Chen Wai-lam and long-time boyfriend Alex Lau kin-ho weren't the only showbiz luvvies to get married this week. On Sunday Korea's stars packed Seoul's Shilla Hotel for actor Kwon Sang-woo's marriage to actress Son Tae-young.
'I'm finally getting married,' Kwon, 32, said at an event attended by 350 guests, including K-pop singer Hwang Bo, actor-director Yoo Ji-tae and actors Song Seung-hun, Won Bin, Lee Dong-gun and Lee Byung-heon. 'I am very, very nervous. This is actually more nerve-wracking than any of the film awards ceremonies I have attended.'
The star of the 2003 hit Stairway to Heaven remembered his lines and then said he was ready for his close-up.
The couple (left) had already honeymooned in London last month, as they both have busy schedules after the ceremony. They have also had their first row - about the future size of their family. 'I want to have three children but she only wants two, for the sake of her figure,' Kwon said.
Celebrity acting couple Yeon Jung-hoon and Han Ga-in have stepped in with timely marital advice. '[I told Kwon that] when he is having a fight with his wife, always lose the battle,' Yeon said.
