With SoHo boutiques constantly opening here's a rundown of some of my favourites in this trendy part of town.
Button Hole
58-60B Peel St, tel: 2899 2069 This jewel of a boutique offers feminine dresses, accessories and shoes that are chic without being overly frilly. The shop may be small - I've never heard of some of the labels - but it's one of those places you can always expect to find something you like.
Fang Fong
67A Peel St, tel: 3105 5557 Opened by designer and stylist Wu Lai-fan, expect pretty evening dresses, day dresses and separates designed by Wu herself. She also provides a couture service where customers can have pieces re-made or altered. For those who want a one-of-a-kind piece, Wu takes orders for custom-designed gowns. She's also opened an accessories boutique (47 Staunton St, tel: 2857 2057) down the street stocking shoes, bags and jewellery.
Tiare Boutique
53 Staunton St, tel: 2540 3380 Fans of stylish casual wear will love this boutique that carries a range of women's clothes from Los Angeles brands such as Michael Stars, Da-nang, Velvet, Vince, ABS and Raven Denim. If you're looking for great basics with a twist, this is definitely a shop to check out.
