STUDENTS of Hong Kong True Light College will be able to study in a more spacious and enjoyable environment in September 1995 when the school moves to Ap Lei Chau.
Located in Caine Road, Central, the college was originally built as a primary school, resulting in a shortage of space and facilities now.
Principal Tao Chee-ying told Young Post that construction of the new school building started last November. There will be 26 classrooms and 14 special rooms.
All classrooms will have air-conditioners to provide a quiet study environment for the students.
The school is trying to consolidate existing plans, such as staff development programmes, to equip teachers and students for the changes ahead.
Staff meetings are held on a regular basis to upgrade teachers' knowledge and their understanding of young people.
