Parents and students from schools losing Form Four from next September are protesting today and calling for the government to fund the classes. The four schools are set to lose Form Four funding after failing to meet minimum requirements. President of the Professional Teachers' Union Cheung Man-kwong said a majority of the protesters would be parents and students who had to face transfers or pay tuition fees out of their own pockets next year. 'The protest is sending out a strong message to the government that band three students really need the extra care and patience provided by these schools,' he said.
