It's not quite as sleek as its trendy predecessor, but the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic should give the iPhone a run for its money.

The latest model in Nokia's music phone series, the 5800 features rich media support for both music and video, and is supported by the company's version of iTunes, the Nokia Music Store, where you can download and buy music.

Like its rival, the 5800 features a large touch-screen. But that screen is slightly smaller, and the phone slightly thicker than the iPhone.

However, the Nokia outranks the Apple creation in terms of data speed, with 3.6Mbps connections over HSDPA, and offers a better camera (3.2 megapixels compared to the iPhone's 2 megapixels).

While it doesn't offer the multi-touch control of the iPhone, the 5800 introduces two new interface elements that make it easier to use. The Media Bar and the Contacts Bar offer one-click access to a shortcut menu for media facilities and conversation history.

Other features include integrated Wi-Fi, full HTML web browsing, built-in speakers, 8GB of memory via a microSDHC card and Assisted-GPS.
