A refreshing lemoncello aperitif was a fitting start to a sumptuous Italian repast. This newish restaurant's modern design is cool and attractive and the service speedy and courteous. The appealing menu features fresh seafood, excellent beef dishes and a wide selection of expertly prepared fresh pastas, bread still warm from the oven, and tempting desserts, with many selections lighter and more modern in concept than traditional Italian fare. They are accompanied by a wine list that includes Portuguese standards and Italian wines and liqueurs. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, another reason why the place is often booked up for lunch or dinner, so reservations are a must. Open daily noon to 10pm.
