HOGAN The Italian label took the hippy chic route with cute sporty tassel bags and lacy flower-stencil flip-flops. The metallic pink and lilac hobo bags were an interesting departure from Hogan's usual cool vibe. Thakoon Panichgul's second capsule collection of anoraks in marathon runner foil tissue and trainers in pink, purple and silver nubuck are fun and functional. LORO PIANA It's hardly surprising that Loro Piana chose a nautical theme when a love of the sea is such part of the company's DNA. Navy cashmere blazers, matelot striped cashmere hoodies and crisp shorts make perfect travel companions. Land-lubbers out there can wear the stylish paisley silk palazzos, chic shirtdresses and featherlight hand-printed shawls (above). TOD'S The brand was inspired by all things equestrian as saddlery details appeared on strappy shoes and hobo bags. A standout was the horseshoe bag. Creative director Derek Lam included jockey-style nylon jackets and silky jumpsuits, proving he is not a one-trick pony. We loved the Modernist style pieces that used the signature pebble (this time industrial-sized) on luxe satin, snake and croc bags. SERGIO ROSSI Edmundo Castillo's last collection for the brand continues to prove that shoes are a major fashion statement. Expect platform styles in bright colours, shiny metallics and exotic skins, trimmed with tassels, buckles and giant frills for those with frou frou tastes. Mostly vertiginous or flat, don't look for a simple patent court here because you won't find it. BALLY Brian Atwood created an enchanted garden with models wearing ruffled lavender blouses, macrame cardigans and tiny whip-stitched shorts that his boho clientele will love. Lots of antique prints and lace inspiration for both clothes, shoes (above) and slouchy suede and soft python bags. The look is matched with soft leather gladiator sandals and lizardskin platforms. JIMMY CHOO Tamara Mellon and her team have evidently been on safari. The result was plenty of exotic skins, graphic animal prints, shells, old metal and beadwork injected with bright, metro glamour. Worth hunting down are the Alanis bag (a handcrafted macrame soft leather shoulderbag with gold bead tassels) and the Cora, a trophy shoe of fringed black leather with metalwork applique. ROGER VIVIER Bruno Frisoni is loving python skin this spring with a range of accessories including the must-have Herald shoe, a platform sandal with origami inspired ankle straps and the Wallis bag (below) in python and patent leather. Last season's prism buckle makes a reappearance along with the new half buckle, the Demi.
