The views were spectacular inside and out when the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design, the sister organisation of the Hong Kong Design Centre, held its Ambassador's Ball earlier this month at the Observatory on the 46th floor of Central Plaza.
Celebrating local design innovators, the gala took guests down memory lane with a display created by artist Stanley Wong Ping-pui, alias Another Mountain Man, reflecting Hong Kong's rich artistic and cultural history.
Funds raised by the event went to the development of the Hong Kong Design Centre.
Seen at the event were Chief Secretary Henry Tang Ying-yen, tycoon Lam Kin-ming, Asia Art Archive's Claire Hsu along with her husband Benjamin Vuchot, jewellery designer Lo Kai-yin, Dee Poon, Rosanna Wong Yick-ming, French consul general Jean Pierre Thebault, as well as Allen Zeman and his daughter Marissa.
