Health, delivered

Full of vitamins, a fruit salad is a tasty way to top up on essential daily dietary requirements. But don't you get bored of eating the same old pineapple and watermelon?

Fear not fruit freaks, a new company, Fruitfella is offering a line of salads designed in conjunction with a nutritionist to offer maximum flavour and nutrition. Each salad contains at least six types of fruit and a 'boost' (a mixture of seeds, nuts and herbs). They come packaged in eco-friendly, 100 per cent-biodegradable boxes.

All start from HK$30 for 175 grams of fruit. The Detox includes grapefruit, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and aloe vera with a boost of cinnamon and sunflower seeds. The FruitFit includes banana, apple, kiwi, red grapes and strawberries. The boost contains sunflower and pumpkin seeds. The SkinFresh contains red, green and black grapes, strawberries and cantaloupe melon with a boost of sunflower seeds, mint and ginkgo biloba.

Fruitfella delivers to companies in prime buildings such as Allen & Overy (Exchange Square), Nomura (IFC), Citibank (Citibank Tower) and JP Morgan (Chater House) as well as offices in Quarry Bay.

Deliveries are managed through an interactive online calendar in a members' area for which a password is needed. For regular orders, the commitment is on a monthly basis, with packages of between two and five salads a week. The schedule can be altered to accommodate days when the customer is out of the office and there is an option to buy individual credits. Fruitfella has also introduced a set menu consisting of daily salads, each with five or six types of fruit and a boost for HK$25. For more details, go to www.fruitfella.com.
