Sport Squash
Achievements  Ka-po, 14,  won the Hong Kong Junior Open and the Dutch Junior Open and was runner-up at the Asian Junior Open in South Korea.
Soundbite 'I started playing squash  in Primary Four. I joined a school  event then and have been in love with the sport ever since,' Ka-po said. 'It  is very exciting because  it is fast-paced.  The squash ball travels very fast  and it is  exciting to go after it and hit it.
'My family is very supportive.  They attend all my games in Hong Kong.  My little sister also plays squash.
'To balance sports and studies, I have to manage my time properly. I practise three or four times a week for two hours. I usually practise  after school. If I train on a certain day, I won't  watch  TV that night, I study.
'When I win a tournament, people around me always praise me.  I appreciate that but the best feeling is when I  beat my opponent with my final shot.
'My idol is [Hong Kong champion] Rebecca Chiu [Wing-yin]. I really wish to play like her one day. My dream is to become the world number one.'
From her coach 'Ho was born to be a squash player. When I look at her movements, the way she hits the ball, it is just so natural,' said Dick Leung Kan-fai.
'She is very gifted with great hand-eye co-ordination. Her skill level is way ahead of people her age.
'One thing she must work on though is to maintain her concentration when the game is tight. She is still young and it will take time for her to mature mentally as well as physically.'
Ambitions 'I aim to get into the top three positions in the upcoming British Junior Open. Hopefully I will qualify for the World Junior Open in India,' Ka-po said.
