Exposed: MTR Corp's monopoly on nude ads

As they say, do onto others as you would wish them to do onto you. But the MTR Corp evidently does not follow this golden rule. We all know how jealously the city's premier transport and property company guards public decency when it comes to advertising inside its stations. Over the years, it has seen fit to censor ads featuring Degas, avant-garde art groups and a campaign for breast cancer awareness. But as a developer and mall manager, it sees no problem putting a pretty and completely naked model on its latest magazine advert for Elements, its flagship shopping centre atop Kowloon station. The MTR defended the ad yesterday, saying it was appropriate and no complaints had been received.

I guess it's one rule for the MTR and another for everyone else.
