IN our capacity as manager of Times Square complex, we have drawn the attention of UA Cinemas management to Mrs Maria Carland's letter (South China Morning Post, March 1) regarding her unpleasant experience at UA Times Square Cinema. We are sure that UA Cinemas, as one of the Times Square tenants, will share Mrs Carland's thoughts and take positive steps to ensure a high standard of viewing enjoyment for its patrons. We would also like to point out that in addition to cinemas, Times Square has a lot of other shopping and dining facilities to offer, for example, 18 restaurants at ''Food Unlimited'', over 200 shops in the eight-level ''Atrium'', ''Lane Crawford Place''on ground level and ''The Market'' at the basement. All these facilities are run by Hong Kong's reputable operators in the capacity of tenants at Times Square, striving at all times to provide quality products and services to the public. Working together with our tenants, we want to make Times Square a dominant, super-regional, one-stop shopping and leisure centre for Hong Kong people. K. C.
