Who's behind it?
Australian Mukti goes only by the Sanskrit word meaning freedom and liberation. She studied cosmetic chemistry, aromatherapy and herbal alchemy for 10 years to formulate her range of certified organic products. The plant-based formulations also use therapeutic grade essential oils, herbal extracts, natural vitamins, liposomes and antioxidants.
Anything else?
Instead of water, Mukti uses aloe vera, which is more hydrating, as the main ingredient in her products. Other unusual ingredients include kakadu plum, an antioxidant.
Any future plans?
Mukti is able to formulate many of her products according to demand because she makes them in small batches. She is developing a tinted moisturiser with sunscreen, a skin-whitening product and an eye mask.
