Every sport deserves a pin-up girl, and cricket is no exception. Natasha Miles (pictured) was not only blessed with natural good looks, she also possesses incredible cricket ability.

It obviously runs in the family. Her English father is Rodney Miles, former president of the Hong Kong Cricket Club and proprietor of Strawberry Cosmetics. Under this corporate banner, he took out a box at the Sixes. Miles' Chinese mother also plays a decent game of cricket. She was the first woman to make it into the Sunday league, playing for HKCC Optimists.

During 2006, Natasha completed her studies at Island School and is now studying English and Film at Exeter University. 'I've been playing with Surrey County in a girl's team. I'm very excited about the fact that I've just signed a Marylebone Cricket Club contract.'

For Miles, taking up cricket was a tad serendipitous. 'I had resisted playing cricket throughout a lot of my childhood, despite my father's wishes. I really didn't like it. My dad had gone on a tour to France. The plan was that I was supposed fill some of my days by going shopping. One of my dad's friend's son was acting as an unofficial mascot. As I was a tomboy, cricket all of a sudden seemed a much better option than shopping. I discovered that there was a lot more fun to be had out on the pitch.'
