Facelift for Ping Shek Estate

The Housing Department will spend HK$45.8 million to improve Ping Shek Estate at Kwun Tong. The work includes new lifts and extending lift access to additional floors. It would also introduce 'green roofs', in which plants create a cooler environment, the department said. Ping Shek is the last of the first batch of 10 estates taking part in the comprehensive structural investigation programme.
