World renowned road-racing photographer Stephen Davison has seen it all: the thrills and spills of two-wheel racing across all the major tracks from the Isle of Man to Donington Park. But the Irishman says nothing really compares with Macau, and that's why he comes back year after year.

The Guia circuit is one of the best racing tracks anywhere in the world, says Davison, and he will be out to capture every moment of it again this year.

The 47-year-old, hailed by Britain's Motorcycle News as the world's number one road-racing lensman , has been a fan since he attended his first race in 1974 and he has been covering Macau since 2003.

'When I first came to Macau, I was amazed by the busy, colourful city. I only really shoot motorcycle racing and although I cover races in the Isle of Man and Ireland there is nowhere like Macau,' said Davison, who hails from Tardree in Northern Ireland.

'It is the only bike race through the streets of a city and the noise and speed create an incredible spectacle to watch and photograph.

'I walked around the course and drove it for quite a few laps to find the best places to take pictures, but nothing could have prepared me for the noise and the speed of the racing itself,' he said.
