It's the Lunar New Year, which celebrates the beginning of the new year in the Chinese lunar calendar. My parents and relatives give me lots of red pockets. They also buy candy and delicious food for us to celebrate this holiday. Then there are beautiful fireworks at night. But, most of all, I love this holiday because I am Chinese.

It has got to be the summer vacation. This year, I went to Vancouver, Canada, on a cultural exchange programme. I made a lot of new friends. It's the best time of the year to explore the world, and also our own country and region.
