Taste buds are the tiny organs you have in your mouth that tell your brain what something tastes like. There are four basic tastes. A piece of cake is sweet. A lemon is sour. A cup of very strong coffee with no milk is bitter. And salt is salty. But there are many other words that also describe the taste of things we eat and drink
