Hong Kong actor, director and producer Eric Tsang Chi-wai is probably one of the few people capable of squeezing out a smile, even though he too is a victim of the recent financial meltdown.

King of Canto-pop Jacky Cheung Hok-yau earlier revealed that half of his life savings 'evaporated' due to his investments in Lehman Brothers and elsewhere.

The singer reportedly earned more than HK$100 million from his world tour concert series, which ended earlier this year, and said he had been looking forward to taking a break. After his investment losses, however, he said he would have to get back to work; he said he had heard Tsang's losses were even greater.

Speaking at the local premiere of Taiwanese drama Cape No7 on Monday, Tsang (right) admitted he was one of the Lehman Brothers victims and described himself as the 'bad luck Tsang'. He would not disclose exactly how much he lost, but denied losing more than Cheung.

'Of course I'm not as rich as [Cheung]. The money he makes from one concert is more than I earn acting in several films. And the money he gets from one tour is probably more than I'll make in my life,' Tsang, 55, said in his characteristic tongue-in-cheek manner.
