Grub: Shanghainese food from  one of Taipei's most famous restaurants
Vibe: Busy, shopping mall atmosphere, but  with a modern and spacious interior.
Who to bring: Friends and family who love dumplings and buns as an alternative to dim sum lunch. They even cater to vegetarians, with  a good selection of  meat-free food,  including mushroom buns, noodles with peanut and sesame sauce, and steamed vegetable and mushroom dumpling.
What's hot: The tossed jellyfish with turnip with a sesame dressing is crunchy and refreshing. Both the crab and the pork xiao long bao, served with slivers of tender ginger in light black vinegar, were  delicate and delicious, and worth waiting for.
Steamed pork with shrimps shao mai are not the typical shao mai you usually get at  yum cha.  Containing glutinous rice, they're  unique - and  scrumptious.
The humble plain noodles with scallions and soya sauce is simply  delectable, the fried scallions  bringing a subtle but superb flavour to the noodles.
Leave room for dessert. The steamed taro paste dumplings are really addictive.
What's not: There are always big queues, but  they don't take  bookings. Come after 2.30pm or at 6pm to avoid the queues.
Cost: HK$130 per person, including service charge.
