Chris Munce arrested at Royal Garden Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui East, by Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) officers on the day he was ticketed to return to Australia. Found to have HK$250,000 cash on him, plus a list of horses and bets. Not charged.

First court appearance, charged by the ICAC with having corruptly acted against the interests of the trainer in tipping horses that he would ride to win races. He is bailed on HK$100,000 bond and HK$100,000 surety, but allowed to return to Australia.
