Grub: Popular Chiu Chow favourites from  a well-known Kowloon restaurant.
Vibe:  Indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of room for big gatherings. Very noisy and almost always full, especially in the winter, this is not the place for anyone looking for a romantic evening or swanky establishment.
Who to bring: Family and friends who love Chinese food, especially seafood. This is definitely a place for people who enjoy food regardless of the venue.
What's hot: Chiu Chow cold crab, Chiu Chow cold platter and  freshly smoked fish are the must-try items. They are light and tasty, with only delicate  seasoning,  allowing  the fresh, natural taste of the  ingredients to come through. These dishes are accompanied by special sauces which enhance the flavour even more.
The sliced  goose meat in brine is also delicious, and perfect for anyone who gets annoyed by bones.  Served with  briny tofu and peanuts, it's a rich, satisfying dish.  Don't miss the oyster cake:  small oysters mixed with egg and fried until crisp and crunchy.  The oyster congee is great as well.
What's not:  It's quite hard to find the venue, as it's far from an MTR station. Decor is basic, and  tables can be messy.  You can't make reservations.
Cost: HK$80 per person, including service charge.
