Korean International School has found a way to spread the festive spirit among its students and raise funds for Operation Santa Claus (OSC) at the same time.

The school has arranged various events for its students. 'The idea is to let the senior students contribute to the kids, so we have the fun day. Then, let the kids give something back to the seniors and hence we have the concert,' said Peter Leesinsky, principal of the school's English Section.

Dr Leesinsky said joining the OSC was a school tradition. 'It not only gives our students a chance to contribute to the local community, [they can also] go out of the classroom, have fun and get into the Christmas spirit,' he said.

Last Thursday morning, the school organised two activities - 'Pancake Breakfast' and 'Photo with Santa'. And in the afternoon, there was the 'Santa Fun Day' which featured a variety of games hosted by secondary students.

The juniors thronged the booths to take part in a biscuit-eating contest, and Christmas bread-making, cookie decoration, bowling, volleyball and basketball. Face-painting and free hugs were also on offer, along with giant puzzles.
