After a two-year break from recording, Wu ditches his trademark crooning and incorporates synthesiser sounds into his riff-driven tunes on Space Bomb.

The record is a sci-fi concept album. Wu casts himself and his band as space travellers searching for a new planet as ours faces doom.

The explorers lash out at social ills such as excessive materialism (Fashion Dog) or reflect on themes of humanity such as solitude (Lonely Jungle) and desires (Too Much Love).
