Convoy Sun Hei coach Yan Lik-kin feels his side should have scooped all three points in yesterday's disappointing 2-2 draw with struggling Sheffield United in the Coolpoint Ventilation First Division at Mong Kok Stadium.

Sun Hei, last month's beaten Senior Shield finalists, were expected to claim maximum points against a team who are struggling in ninth place in the table. But the one-time Hong Kong giants had to work hard to share the spoils after trailing 2-1.

'We should have done better. It's a bit disappointing to come away with a draw since we dominated much of the match and we created more chances,' said Yan, a former Hong Kong international. 'We let in two soft goals after we failed to stay focused. We didn't perform quite up to expectations. If we had kept our minds on the job and played better, we could have won the match.'

Sheffield led 2-1 after first-half goals from Hao Shuang and Zhang Yuqi sandwiched a 17th-minute goal from Sun Hei's Giovane da Silva.

Sun Hei pressed on for the equaliser and finally got it when Wilfred Bamnjo netted for the former league champions in the 66th minute. Sun Hei remain in seventh place on 18 points, two places above Sheffield who have 14 points.
