The deaths were all believed to be suicides and involved hanging.
The latest incident was last Thursday when a man, 46, who was serving five years for manslaughter, was found hanging from the bars of his cell by bed sheets.
He was still alive when Correctional Service Department (CSD) officers found him, but died at Castle Peak Hospital. He was admitted to Siu Lam in 1991.
Many of the approximately 200 inmates at Siu Lam have been declared criminally insane. Some are serving terms for murder.

This month's death follows two similar suspected suicides at the psychiatric centre on February 4 and February 26.
