Last chance

A MAN convicted of five charges, including four of robbery, was sent to a training centre yesterday.

Chan Kin-sum, 18, had earlier pleaded not guilty to a count of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a defective as well as four counts of robbery and one count of theft.

He was acquitted of the sex-related charge a fortnight ago.

Defence counsel Tim Kwok said his client regretted what he had done.

In sentencing, Judge Whaley said he would give Chan a last chance because of his youth.
