Make friends with everyone you meet
Working with other people is an art. The more we socialise, the better we become at making new friends.
To be successful, we need a range of qualities - and one of them is charisma.
No matter what someone thinks of us, a broad smile combined with polite gestures can win over anyone.
And if everyone had this positive attitude, harmony would not be such a distant dream.
Making friends is better than making enemies. Even if someone's personality does not totally complement ours, it is still better to work at a cordial relationship. We do not have to become best friends, but by remaining friendly, people will respect us and be willing to support us.
Meeting difficult people  can be troublesome, but we should face up to the challenge.
The more people we get on with, the easier our lives will be, and the more peaceful society will be.
We should never show hostility towards others. And if others display negative emotions towards us, we should just ignore them. The more people we get to know and call friends, the happier we will be.
After all, friends are the family we choose ourselves, so we should do everything we can to build a big, happy family.

Hip hop dancing  is good for us
Hip hop dancing has become popular among teenagers. Hip hop music, culture and clothing are also very popular.
But some teachers and parents say hip hop dancing is not a healthy pastime for young people. I think they are wrong.
First of all, hip hop dancing is a kind of sport. It is a very active dance form, which gets your heart pumping. It is an excellent form of exercise.
Secondly, hip hop dancing is effectively a team sport. You have to work with others to stage a show.
Thirdly, hip hop dancing is an art. It expresses what is in people's hearts.
Parents and teachers should support such activities, even if they object to baggy trousers.

Uniform ideas
Students love Dress Casual Day. Many feel their uniforms are boring. But I prefer School Uniform Day.
Students at my school don't have to wear school uniform. This may sound appealing, but sometimes it's annoying because I run out of fashion ideas. Only on School Uniform Day can I wake up and not worry about what to wear. I just put on my old school uniform.
You always want what you don't have.
When you have to wear a uniform, you want to wear casual clothes, and vice versa.
School Uniform Day reminds us to be proud of our school.
It also reminds us to be grateful for everything we  have.

Work on vocabulary
English may be a difficult language for us to learn, but there are easy ways to improve. One of the best ways is to expand your vocabulary. And you can do this in fun ways.
By reading more English books, watching more English TV shows and films, and listening to more English, you can learn more English words.
Don't make excuses. Make learning English fun.
