The four-year-old Win More kept Zac Purton's winning roll going with the Australian jockey having failed to ride a winner at only two of the past nine meetings. The Michael Chang Chun-wai-trained Win More had been a maiden for his first 11 runs, but will have caught the handicapper's attention in breaking through in the Good Fortune Handicap by over three lengths to give Purton his eighth success for the month of January. 'He got a very easy time in the lead, nothing went near us, so he only had to give me the same sort of kick as he has shown in behind lately to make him tough to beat,' said Purton. 'That was the key to the win and it probably wasn't out of his turn because he's had a couple of placings, but the margin was very flattering.' Big punters anticipated the soft lead tempo and Win More's role in it, backing the gelding down from over 6-1 to be 4.4 as the field left the gates.
