When LG first introduced its touch-screen mobile phone, it was in association with ultra-trendy fashion brand Prada.
The Prada phone, as it was called, came with a big 3-inch display and a lofty price tag.
Now that same look can be yours for a fraction of the price with the new LG KP500. As is the tradition with LG on the mainland with its Chocolate series of mobiles, the KP500 also comes with a food-related alias, Cookies.
While it isn't the iPhone, the KP500's 3-inch touch screen is LG's third generation of phones with this kind of interface, with refinements and enhanced application support such as handwriting recognition, photo editing and an accelerometer.
In addition to the onscreen keypad, you can also use the stylus and an onscreen Qwerty keyboard, or the handwriting software.
The KP500 is very light, weighing in at 89 grams, and one of the thinnest at 11.9mm.
