Newcastle have signed Kevin Nolan from Bolton in a GBP4million deal (HK$44.1 million), according to BBC Sport. The midfielder, a replacement for crocked Joey Barton, has signed a four and a half year deal. 'It was an opportunity which was impossible to turn down,' Nolan told Newcastle's official website. Magpies boss Joe Kinnear said: 'He's got an eye for goal and bags of Premier League experience. He's a player I think our fans will love. He's a real inspirational player and a great character. He's the sort of lad that never knows when he is beaten.'
