Pagani revs for Top Gear shows Horacio Pagani will unveil the Pagani Zonda F Roadster (below) Pagani Automobili's newest supercar at the Top Gear Show, at the Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 20-22, the event's publicists say. The 7.3-litre roadster is said to sprint to 100km/h in 3.6 seconds, top at 345km/h and Top Gear says it holds the fourth-fastest lap time in the programme's history. Sunseeker Asia boats and Aston Martins will also feature in the event's seven shows, Top Gear publicists say, adding that they have sold more than 12,000 standard (HK$288), premium (HK$588), and VIP (HK$988) tickets (available via HK Ticketing, tel: 3128 8288; hkticketing.com). No recession bite for Bentley Bentley Hong Kong seems busy in the recession. The dealer says it has sold two 2009 Continental Flying Spur models at HK$3.48 million a pop and has received interest in the HK$3.88 million Continental Flying Spur Speed (top right) at its showroom. Bentley Hong Kong general manager Douglas Chau says he is impressed by the new 12-cylinder, six-litre four-door saloons' electronically adjustable front seats with memory and heat settings. 'This new feature offers a truly outstanding level of comfort and luxury to both driver and passenger. The 600bhp Flying Spur Speed has a harder and sportier edge,' he says. 'It is tauter, sharper and more nimble, giving a more engaging experience, with greater driver feedback. The unique 9.5Jx20 multi-spoke alloy wheels with bespoke Pirelli P-Zero UHP performance tyres complement the distinguished sporting character of the Speed.' You'll need them, too, because the Speed's a fastie. Its engine develops 15 per cent more torque and 9 per cent more power than the Flying Spur, resulting in a range of impressive performance figures including a 0-100km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 322km/h.
