British experimental music group Modified Toy Orchestra rescues unwanted toys and turns them into strange yet fascinating musical instruments.

The ground-breaking band is coming to town for two concerts entitled Plastic Planet on March 13 and 14.
The group performs live electronic pop music without using computers, samplers or synthesisers. They only use toys to make music.
The unusual music will be accompanied by extraordinary visuals.
Award-winning sound artist and founder of the band, Brian Duffy, has been at the forefront of the worldwide underground movement called 'circuit bending'.

It promotes the conversion of the circuits within old electronic toys into sophisticated musical instruments.
