Young Post reporters share some dates-gone-wrong horror stories and offer some tips on where not to take your Valentine
The skating rink
Taking your date to a skating rink - especially if she can't even stand on the ice - is a mistake, no matter what anyone tells you. The truth is, if you're a good skater, nobody wants to sit admiringly as you spin around in circles on the ice. It's as bad as taking your date to a public pool and making her watch you swimming laps among all the other bathers. Oh, so it would be better to give your date a skating lesson, would it? Think again. Do you think she wants to let you make a fool of her in public as she slips and spills and possibly injures herself?

The mall
OK, girls, you should know better. Guys don't go to malls unless they have something to buy. We know you can spend hours trying on clothes and shoes even if you don't have the money to buy anything. Save it for your female friends because anything more than 15 minutes of wandering around shops looking at clothes is likely to have a guy plotting his escape. Have you ever seen those pathetic guys in shops, sitting on couches, checking their mobile phone with glazed eyes? They're waiting for someone like you.
