An illegal factory was blamed for a massive explosion in Hebi, Henan province, on Wednesday that killed five people and injured two others, Xinhua reported. A man surnamed Zheng was believed to have been making illegal detonators in his flat when he accidentally set off 8kg of explosives stored in his bedroom on the third floor of a residential building.
