I wonder when girls should start wearing makeup. Nowadays, the majority of them use too much makeup. They want to be more attractive. Makeup seems to have become a necessity for modern-day teenage girls.
I'm not opposed to girls wearing makeup, but I don't think they should wear it at such a young age.
I think a little makeup is good enough for girls. Excessive amounts make them look artificial and spoils their natural beauty.
Young girls look pretty enough without makeup.
Girls, be more natural. Don't let cosmetics dominate your life!

Thank you for your letter, Agnes. Many young girls think they need to wear makeup to be cool or accepted by their peers.
But while wearing makeup can be fun, there are several reasons why it's a good idea to wait until you're a little older.
Firstly, buying makeup can be expensive. There are so many different items - lipstick, eyeshadow, blusher - and if you want to try them all, you can spend a lot of money.
Secondly, while there are cheap options to help you overcome the first problem, if you have delicate skin, as many young girls do, these can cause irritation and rashes.
Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, you have your whole adult life to wear makeup, so there's no need to hurry. While you're young, why not save makeup for special occasions?
You'll find out soon enough that wearing makeup to cover flaws and make you look younger is less fun than it sounds.
