Vietnamese inmate dies in cell The Coroner's Court will hold an inquest into the death of a Vietnamese inmate found hanging from a bed sheet in his cell in Stanley Prison at about 7am yesterday. The convict, aged 30 and surnamed Tran, was jailed for robbery and was serving a 56-month sentence. Arrest over drug haul A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making illegal drugs after HK$570,000 worth of suspected cocaine and equipment were seized from his Tsuen Wan flat. Police intercepted the man when he left his Castle Peak Road flat at about 11pm on Monday. The man remained in police custody yesterday and no charges had been laid. Minibus hits man at junction A 49-year-old man suffered head and hand injuries when hit by a minibus at the junction of King's Road and Westlands Road, Quarry Bay, at about 8.30am yesterday. A 41-year-old female passenger was also minor injuries when the minibus driver braked abruptly. They were taken to Eastern Hospital. Police said the 46-year-old driver passed a breath test. Four mainlanders held for scam Police arrested four mainland visitors on suspicion of cheating a 60-year-old woman into buying electronic goods in Ko Fai Road, Yau Tong, at about 11.30am. The four men, aged 46 to 50, were being held for questioning. Mark Six No one won the first or second prized in last night's Mark Six draw. The numbers were 1, 9, 32, 37, 38 and 47.
