Synovate HKCC beat a spirited InProjects Kowloon 38-13 yesterday to set up a Grand Championship semi-final with league champions Tradition Valley. Kowloon dominated territory in the first half but failed to punish HKCC's indiscipline, missing a succession of penalties, leaving HKCC leading 17-6 at half-time. In the second period  Cricket Club continued to capitalise on Kowloon's mistakes, scoring five tries to InProjects' one. In the other quarter-final, Manulife Causeway Bay upset DeA Tigers 19-12 and will meet league runners-up CBRE Club.
