SOME things never change, and the Bull and Bear - Hong Kong's ''first and best known British pub'' as the patrons rightly claim - is proud to make this boast as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this month.
The milestone event will be marked today with a party for, says the management, ''all our friends'' at 11.30 am.
And since Hong Kong loves a good party, the popular hostelry in Hutchison House is going to be quite surprised at the number of friends it has.
Says general manager Sonia Griggs: ''We feel our anniversary would be of special interest to the Hong Kong public, many of whom have frequented the establishment over the years''.
We bet a book waits to be written about the characters who propped up its bar and those whose reputations were sullied forever in an alcoholic haze.
How about it, Sonia?
