Two more suspected drug traffickers, a Form One pupil and a jobless man, have been arrested in a case in which five girls fell ill in school after taking a substance that may be ketamine.

The arrests were made as officers were looking into the source of the illegal drug, bringing the number arrested in the case to nine. Seven are students.

The two males, aged 15 and 18, were arrested when the New Territories North regional crime unit raided two flats on Ching Ho Estate, Sheung Shui, on Monday. They were charged yesterday with trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear in Fanling Court today.

On Friday, five girls aged 13 to 14 - Form Two pupils at Sheung Shui Government Secondary School - spent HK$20 each to buy drugs during the lunch break. But they became dizzy and sought help from teachers.

They were taken to hospital and later arrested on suspicion of taking illegal drugs. One of them was also suspected of trafficking in a dangerous drug. The five have been released on bail and are not charged yet.
