South China are considering playing some reserves when they meet TSW Pegasus in the League Cup quarter-finals at Mong Kok Stadium today. The cup tie was scheduled for Thursday, but was postponed due to bad weather. However, with the crucial AFC Cup opening group match against visiting Indonesian side PSMS Medan on Tuesday, the Caroliners may adopt a safety-first approach with their starting line-up. The influential Manoel Santos injured himself in training and looks a doubtful starter for Pegasus.
