Self-help
I READ with great interest your articles, ''Calls for Help'' and ''Value of Self-Worth.'' on the Families page (South China Morning Post, March 14).
As a business executive and personal development training company with experience in Hong Kong, the United States and Japan for more than 15 years, we are presently in the process of putting together a three-day seminar for teenagers in Hong Kong.
The seminar's main focus is self-worth: its aim is to support participants in making positive changes in the way they see themselves. In the safe learning environment we provide, they look at themselves and develop a new sense of their own worth. If we had a sign over the training room door, it would read: ''You have come here to find what you already have.'' Next month we will conduct a similar seminar in Macau for students at Brito School or underprivileged children. This is being facilitated free of charge by our firm. For the Hong Kong seminar, we would like to work with a group that assists teenagers andcharge a minimal fee with all profits benefiting that group. Any teen-help groups that would like to arrange a seminar for a 15-20 year age group can contact me.
