Robbers chop couple in bed

MAN and his wife were attacked in their bed by three robbers who broke into their Lok Ma Chau house early yesterday. The trio climbed into the house in Maple Gardens, Castle Peak Road and attacked them with a chopper taken from the kitchen.

They escaped with a $40,000 cash cheque and some credit cards. The couple, Andrew Simon and So Pui-wan, both 40, were in hospital in fair condition.
