BLINKERS work wonders in Hong Kong racing and they look the key to Bogie's Pride (Nap) in today's final event.
Bogie's Pride scored at the first time of asking for Tony P.H. Chan over 1,235 metres at the Valley and has improved with his two runs since.
Last time he went really well for a long way in the 1,400-metre event won by Mustang at Sha Tin and a combination of a drop back in distance and the application of blinkers for the first time should see him prevail.
He has been working very well in the blinkers in the morning and is developing into a really good type.
My best quinella comes in the fifth event. You may well want to take Manley's Star as the banker as he is going to be really hard to keep out of the first two.
He is very much on the upgrade and his form is working out really well as Invincible, who beat him last time, has since run close against much better company.
